Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose
hands and Seals are hereunto sett two of his Majtys Justices of
the peace for the City of London (Quorn Unus) by the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St. Botolph Bishopgate
abovesd. That

said Parish endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law and
unless timely prevented islikely to become chargeable
thereunto which We do adjudge to be true. and forasmuch
as it appeareth unto us the said Justices upon the Oath of
Mary Hodges< no role >

the Mother of the said
Hannah Hodges that her said Daughter
was borne in Pye Corner
in the Parish of St
Sepulchres
abovesaid and no other legal Settlement
elsewhere appearing unto us since We do also adjudge the
said Parish of St. Sepulchresto be the place of her last
legal Settlement

These are therefore in his Majesty's name to will & require
you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
Parish of St Botolph Bishopgate forthwith to remove and convey
the said Hannah Hodges
from out of your said parish unto the said parish of St.
Sepulchresand her deliver unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor there Some or one, of them who are
hereby required to receive and provide for her according to
Law. Given under our hands and Seals this. 21stday of
