[..] Mr. Colliester at John Jefferson< no role > house a publican at the
the Ship inRedmead Lane St. George Middlesex Watchman on his Oath
Yesterday morning he went from the Room he his in the Said house at which
[..] The Custain Quilt Street and produced his property Value Two Shillings and
expence were safe The door Locked. That this morning about the hour of nine he.
heard that he had been robbed

John Jefferson< no role > on his Oath Saith last night about the hour of nine he heard that the
Room he let to Charles Mr. Collister< no role > was robbed being in Liquor objected to hearing him
Jane< no role > the Wife of John Jefferson< no role > or her Oath Saith the prisoner at the Bar were yesterday Several times in the
afternoon at had husbands house until Six at night when they went away and a little after nine as She was in the bar with Mrs.
Rossiter She heard a Sudden psh which Shoot the bar She ordered her Servant Jane to take a light go and see what was the Matter on the
Stairs without the house which the lodgers go their apartments without coming through the House. That her Servant took a light and wentant
Mrs. Rossiter to See what was the Matter and almost [..] to heard them cry thiefs. She run into the tap room where was Mr. Wiliam who frist wentant
other followed The Girl came in with the Sheet and Shirt produced which she thought at frist to be her Servant Said it Mr. Collisters.that Wiltshire
came in and Said the Thief was off but he had got his when she said give it me I will keep it, That her Said Servant Said it was [..] put She would
[..] it Say having That afternoon pulled the thread of [..] from the place where it was [..] that she have Said at up the bar and sent for [..] Father
who came and Said he would Sworn that the Said but was her sons hat which [..] bar to give [..] of Lion

Said She was fear full Some body had broke in and order the Girl to go and See
that She went out with Said Girl who had a Light in her hand andwent up Stair
the Girl Said She Saw man Hand on the Lead that She herself locked and saw
a Man with Something a white that she called out thief Says She cannot Say
with certainty if either of the person present who Say their names are Joseph

Stairs unto Mr. Collisters Room and found a pane of glass taken but of the Casement
and the casement wide open The Coverled half out of the WindowThat she Saw

Jane Elizabeth Ashton< no role > Servant to Mr. Jefferson on her oath Saith That last
night by order of her Mistress She went Mrs. Rossiter to look up the Stairson
the out side of the house to see it any body was there She having a Candle in her hand that
She Saw one one corner of the lead as man with a blue Jacket Round hat with Some
thing white round himthat Mrs. Rossier called Stop thief The Man humbled
off the Lead upon the Stairs and on the Stones in the Alley That Charles Wiltshire< no role >
She Saw pursue the said Man That she pished the Sheet and Shirt produced from
out of a Kannel in the Said Alley and delivered them to her mistressSays She
only Saw the back of the person which appeared to her to be such a man as She Saw
on the Top of the Lead and who Wilts hire [..] persued

That She is certain the hat produced is the Same hat which Joseph Darrell< no role > had on his lead Yesterday in the afternoon

Charles Wiltshire< no role > at Mrs. Corbett in Artichoke lane St. George Middlesex Butcher
on his Oath Saith last night about a Quarter past nine as he was Sitting in the Tap
room of John Jefferson< no role > he heard the out cry of Stop thief he run out with a Candler
in his hand he run out to the fast of the Stair on the out side the that he [mark]
Catched at a person coming off the Stair and laid hold of his hat and hair that another
person jumped off Said Stairs and baet him down and he the thinks the man he had hold
off who got away was [..] That Mr Jefferson informing him who the person were.
they went to the Lodgings of Joseph Darrell< no role > No. 36 in Red mead Lane not funding him
returned to Jefferson and about half un hour after hearing hear Dorrell was at
home in the mean time Dorrells father came to Jefferson and Claimed the Said hat [..] being
his SonsThat went and apprehended Joseph Dorrell< no role > on Suspicion of having
robbed the Room of Charles Mr. Collister< no role >
