The Information of Peter Nowlan< no role > at Mr. Wachertacks in Betts
Street St. George Middlesex Sugar Refiner taken this 29 th day of Decr.
1788 before me John Staples< no role > Esqr. one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for Sd. County
Who on his Oath Saith on the 26th of Decr. Instant at might he went with the person present
to sleep in her Lodging in Cable Street St. George Middlesex at which time he has
Two Guineas half a Six penny piece and a few half pence in his Breeches pocket
which Breeches he put under headThat the Door was fastned on this inside and in
about half and hour after the said [..] person who Says her name is Ann Maiden< no role > got up let
a woman in who she sent for some purl and lodged the door after her That soon after
she let Said Woman in With the purl wanted him to drink which he refused and let the
said Woman out again and fastned the Door Says some time after he fell asleep and
when he awoke between the hours of Four and five his Bed fellow was gone and on
Searching his Breeches pocket found the Said Two Guineas and half guinea had been
taken awayThat the gave information to [..] Joseph West< no role > the Officer
who apprehended her the Said Ann Maiden And that he has not a Doubt She
is the person who robbed him of the Said Two Guineas and half a Guinea aforesaid
