the said County taken before me this
24th day of December 1788
Who being upon Oath saith that about Seven o Clock
in the Evening of Saturday last as he this Informant was
returning to Town with his Master Chaisea Enling [..]
he wasofstopped on Ealing Common
by two Footpads
who robbed him of a Silver Watch a steel Chain a
Seal and about thirty Shillings in Money And further
Says that he is very sure that a person now present
who calls himself William Cousins< no role >
is one of the said
Footpads that so robbed him and the Man who took
his said Watch And that he doth verily belive that
another person now present who calls himself William
Butcher< no role >
is the other Footpad who robbed him of
his Money a aforesaid
