The Information of William Cornwell< no role > of King David Fort in the
Parish of Saint George Middlesex Cowkeeper Taken this 30th. day
of december 1788 before me One of his Majestys Justices of the peace in
and for the said County.

William Cornwell< no role > on his Oath saith that night one Sucking Pig of
the Value of Three Shilling was taken and carryed away out of his
inclosed Yard and another Sucking pig of the same value both his
property about half past nine last night he found stuck in the Stye
says he foundhad been opened and Street to andthe Door of his Yard
had been opened and Shut toThat looking about the Yard he saw
the person present who says his name is Robert Ward< no role > jumprun out
of the said Stye and endeavoured to escape and that he has not
a Doubt of the said Robert Ward< no role > having taken the said Pig and
stabbed the other

Robert Ward< no role > saith he Yesterday went to Mile End to see Friend where he
got drunk and in coming home he found Mr. Cornwells gater open he went in
to lay down [..] saw Two Man in the Yard who he did not take any notice of
nor they of himThat Mr. Cornwell disturbed him soon after that his
running away was fearing the Dogs one of which seized him by the
Elbow the other by his coatThat the Blood on his Stockings and breeches
he might have got by laying down in the stye. That he did not stick the
one Pig nor did he take the other Pig away
