Informant further on his Oath saith that he doth verily
believe and Suspect that the said Thomas Pearce< no role > did feloniously
and Treasonably make and Colour the said false and
Counterfeit Shillings and Six pences.

The Information of Edward Lavender< no role >
taken upon Oath before me One of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace in and for the said County this
24th. day of January 1788.

Who on his Oath saith that on the 18th. day of January Inst.
he went to the Yorkshire Grey Publick House situate in Bonds Stables
Fetter Lane in company with John Dinmore< no role > and Thomas Isaac< no role >
in order to Search the Apartment of one Thomas Bennett< no role > otherwise
Pearce having received Information that the Silver Coin of this
Realm was there made and Counterfeited This Informant was
the first up Stairs and asked the witness Elizth. Bennett which
was Mr Bennetts room she immediately said she did not know
and ran back into the room she came out off which was not her
own. but the person in whose room she was immediately told
which was the room we wanted to Search. This Informant and
the said John Dinmore< no role > & Thos. Isaac then went and Searched and in the
roomfounthis Informant found a file two Pieces of Cork a Small Piece
of Scowering Paper which had been used and Lamp of blacking And
after some further Search in a Table Drawer which was Locked
