before me this 24. day of March 1788

Who being upon Oath Says that the Persons now
Present who calls himself Peter Hebert< no role > lived with
him as a Servant and was discharged from his
Service about August last that Fifty Books and
Pamphletts now produced by him are his property
And have been feloniously stolen in his Shop as he
Verily believes by the said Peter Hebert< no role > That a
part of said Books and Pamphletts he found in
said Heberts Box< no role > in the House of Edward
Jefferys< no role > in Warwick Street Golden Squard another
Part thereof in said Hebert's Box at Mr. Kays a
Bookseller in the Strand and the remainder in
said Hebert's Fathers House in Whitechaple
