The Information of George Lackington< no role >
of Pultency Street Milkman< no role >
taken before me this first day
of April 1788.

Who being on Oath Says that being awakend by a noise in the Street about
2 or 3 oClock in the Morning of the 24th. of March last
he got out of Bed and went into the Street (half dressed)
that upon his coming out he preceivd the Street door of
Claup House to be fast, and saw Smoak issuing out
between the Shutter of the Shop window, next Wardour
Street, that he stood by Barrell whilst he broke down
the window Shubers and was in hopes of being able
to assist n Saving some of Claus's Property, which he
expected was in the Shop window and which he had
observed there the Satturday before, but he his great
astonishment he found, that when then Matter where
bicken down there was not the leash appearance of any
Goods whatever either in the Shop windows or any
other pass of the Shops , which he must [..] Necessary
how saw, if these had been any as there where no
drawers or other places to put them in out of Sight
That soon after the Shop windows where broken
open, a Person unknown to the witness and whom he
believes to be a Lamp lighter, got through the window
into the Shop, and opened the door of the Closet which
Clary calls his Ware Room,that, the Witness
could then very clearly See into the Ware Room.
but is certain there were no Goods in it
