me this 14th. day of March 1788
Who being upon Oath severally say and first
the said James Allow for himself says that about one
or two o'Clock this Morning as he is an coming along
the Strand
he met the Person now present who
calls herself Mary Price< no role >
near the New Church
at
which time he had in his right Hand Breeches Pocket
three Guineas in Gold and in his left Hand Breeches
Pocket two half Crowns and Six pence in Silver that
at her Solicitation he went with her into some
Street which he believes to be Water Street when
after remaining with her sometime and attempting
to put his Hand in his Pocket to give her something
he missed his said three Guineas and one of his
half Crowns That the said mary Price< no role >
upon his
searching his Pocket ran away where he followed
her secured her and charged the Watch with her
and is very sure she feloniously stole his said Money
And the said Francis Foreman< no role >
for himself says
that upon the said Price being brought to the
Watchhouse he searched her and in one of her Pockets
he found a Guineas and some half pence and whilst
he was stripping her further another Guinea
drop't form her
