times to come in but that he declined itthat said Kirby then
asked to look at some Handkerchiefsthat this Informant then shewd
him the same Handkerchiefs which she had shown him in the
Morningthat a Boy being in the Shop at this time who wanted
some binding she desvied the Maid to call or Husband whom she
desvied to serve said Kirbythat while she was serving the Boy
she observed the Handkerchiefs which were afterwards missed in
the Windowthat at the time she saw the Handkerchiefs in the
Window said Kirby stood just within the Door and Ann
Shepherd
< no role > on his left handthat this Informant further saith
she heard said Kirby repeatedly offer. Thirty Shillings for
10 Handkerchiefsthat her Husband refused the price and she observed
that he could not take that Moneythat said Kerby said he was
a Person who travel'd the Country and dealt in such things and
that if he could not got a hifle by them he would not have
themthat immediatly upon said three Persons leaving the
Shop her Husband missed the Handkerchiefs and enquired of
her what was become of them, when they both perceived they were
gonethat during the whole of this transaction no person
but the Boy was in said Shop from the time of the Prisoners
coming in to the time of their going away
