further saith that he doth verily believe the said John Wilkinson< no role >
did feloniously steal the same the said Jane Conelly< no role > saith that she
counted the Money with her Husband on said Sunday Morning
last, that her said Husband locked the Chest of Drawers where
the Money lay and gave the Key to this Informant which she
put into her Pocket and laid it under the Bolster of the Bed
and then went to bedthat between 4 and 5 o Clock on said Sunday
Morning she heard the Street Door of her House Sheet, that she
and her said Husband then got up together and found the Chest of
Drawers open and all the said Articles taken outthat on
Searching the House they found said John Wilkinson< no role > Missing
The said John Tainton< no role > saith that about 10 o Clock on Sunday Morning
last said Wilkinson came to this Informants House and calld for a Pint
of Beer and staid about [..] an hourthat he sold this Informant and
that he had some Business to do at Dulwich and would return
again in the Evening that he then went out and returned in about
an hour and drank some Gen and Water with two other Men
in the Tap roomthat he then Ordered this Informant to bring
Coffee for three Persons and told this Informant that he need
not be afraid of being paid, for that he had plenty of Money and
immediatly pulled out of his right Hand Breeches Pocket a
handful of Guineas to the amount of about Twenty which he
threw on the Tap room tablethat this Informant told him to
take care of his Money and put it into his Pocket which he did
that he told this Informant, that he was going to Town by the
Sydenham Stage which was to call for him at this Informants
House at 5 o Clockthat the Stage not coming he called for
