Aforesaid ; and taken before me Nicholas Bond< no role > Esqr
one of his MAJESTY'S Justices of the Peace for the said
City and Liberty County of Middlesex ,this 1st. Day of June
17 86

Who Saith that about one or two oClock on Monday
or Tuesday morning last, as he was lying in his
Boat on the River Thames near Surrey Street
Stairs a Man (whom he knows not) came
in a Boat along side of him, asked him if he
had any Greggs, to which this Examinant
replied in the Negativethat said Man then
asked him if he [..] Wanted any Hatches, if he
did, he would give him some for Some Greggs;
that Examinant told him that he did not want [..]
Hatches;Upon
which said Man [..] replied "Da [..] your Eyes you
shall have some" and thre [..] the Hatches now produced into his
Boat.
