Who being on Oath says This Morning between the Hours of Two and Three as
he was going from the said Highway to New Gravel Lane

in passing
through Elbow Lane

he was attached by the Prisoner present
who says his Name is

by seizing him by the Waist and
asking what Business he had there says he endeavouring to make him
lose his hold. he knocked him down took his Hat from his head and
run away with it That this Informant called out Watch but no
Person came to his Assistance-The said

returned and
again knocked him down and Kicked him-That continuing to call out
for help he left him having in the Scuffee dropt the
[..] hat he had taken which he
kicked before him-but by pursuing and calling out watch he left the said hat
behind him-That his calling Watch Three Watchman came to his Assistance
he saw

they went to the said house and demanded
entrance which was refused but The said

Threataing to treat Open
the Door it was Opened That they went into the Back Yard of said house and found
that the said

had got over the pails of the said Yard into another Yard
Bedining where they found him in the Necessary

Says this Morning as he was inted in Elbow Lane
between the Hours of Two and Three he
heard the alarm of Watch and Stop thief that he got up and when he got into the
Lane he saw

at the Door of the said

That said Jones told him he had been
robbed and that the man had men into that house The Watchman telling him
they refused to open the Door he called to them when they opened it Says he
[..] went into the Yard and Observing the Door of the Necessary in the next Yard to move
he and the said Jones got Over and there found
