Taken and made on oath the 26th: day of
April 1784.
Who upon his Oath Saith That having Received
Information from one Mr. Evans of Boswell Court
in
Queens Square this Informants Neighbour That he saw
Two Women come out of his this Informants House
with a large Buddle of property which he suspected
were Stolen He this Informant went up to his Bedroom
(which he had Locked about an hour before) When he
found the Door open and a great quantity of Wearing
Apparell Taken awayThat he then went in Pursuit
of the said Two Women and came up with Them at
the Coach Hand Bloomsbury Square
when he found
one of the Women Namely Sarah Scott< no role >
in the Coach
and the other namely Ann Hannaway< no role > This name instance is in set 4564.
Endeavoured to
Make her Escape And this Informant Saith That
in the said Coach he found the Bundle of Wearing
Apparell now produced containing Sunday Silk Gowns
a Coat Two pair of Breeches
One White Waistcoat and
other Things which are all this Informants property
and are of the Value of Forty Shillings and upwards
