THE Information of Jacob Archer< no role > Foreman to James Jones< no role > of
Fawdon Fields Saint George Iron Founder
Taken this 23d Day of September 1783 before me,
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said County

Who being upon Oath Saith that on Saturday night last between the
hour of Six and Seven O Clock in the Evening being then
in the Accompting house of the said james Jones< no role > Esquire
he received Information from Daniel Wingate< no role > . a Fireman
Employed in the said Foundery that he suspected
one William Murray< no role > (the prioner now her Produced
and who had Worked in the said Foundery about five or
or Six Weeks) had Something about him which was
not his property. Whereupon Informant followed him
and after he had got out of the Yard and off the
Premises of the said James Jones< no role > Esqr. some little
distance he this Informant Stopt the prisoner and
upon his Searching him found the Chair now here
produced in the Coat pocket of the said William
Murray
< no role > which Chair he positively Sweeirs to he
the property of the said James Jones< no role > Esqr. having
Seen the same under the Crane Past in the said
Foundery about One O Clock of the same day and
which was feloniously taken and Carried away
by the said William Murray< no role > .
