Thomas West< no role > of Mount street in the parish of Saint George
Hanover Square in the County of Middlesex Surgeon and Apothecary
maketh oath and saith that on Sunday night last this
Deponent was applied to, to attend Thomas Downes< no role > of Mount
Street aforesaid Gentleman who had that wening as this
Deponent believes been overturned in a Post Chaise and had
cut and very much bruised his Knee that he hath ever
since attended the said Thomas Downes< no role > in his Capacity of
a Surgeon and that his Wound and Bruise are now so
bad that this Deponent conceives that the said Thomas
Downos is unable to have his Room And therefore this
Deponent believes that it will be impossible for the said
Thomas Downes< no role > to attend this present Sessions at the
old Bailey without great dangers of his Life

Sworn in Court at Justice Hall in the Old
Bailey this Ninth Day of November in the
Year of Our Lord 1774}
