being Friday the first Day of May go again to Hicks Hall and did then
take out a Bill of Indictment against the said Prisoner and Deliver the
same to the proper Officer in Court in Order to be Sworn thereon who
informed this Deponent That the Grand Jury had been Discharged and upon
this Deponents making further Inquiry he was informed that they had been
Discharged about Two Hours before And this Deponent further Saith That he
did not Neglect to take out the said Bill of Indictment in time and prefer
the same before the Grand Jury through or Reward or the hope or
promise thereof but that such Neglect was occasioned by the means aforesaid
and no other Motive or reason whatsoever.
