to her Husband and afterwards to took [..] at four
Shillings and Six Pence & gave the Changes says
that the two Men wore their own Hair & the Person
now Present who calls himself Charles People shew
certain was one but cannot be certain that [..]
the Persons now present who calls himself William
Rogers
< no role > was the other but verily believes that
how as the other

And this Informant Charles Pools for himself
saith that he Lodges in the same House with the
other Informant Philip Chandler< no role > that he
came home on Saturday Night last about Eleven
o Clock that he saw the Wife of the said
William Rogers< no role > in the Passage with a Bundle of
something in her Apron and took this Informant
backwards & told him that her Husband was in
Mr Chandlers Shop & this Informant when he
went forward along with the said Rogers Wife
said She said William Rogers< no role > in Mr Chandlers
Shop & saw the Window Shutter of the back
Parlour broke Open and this Informant went
with the said Roger's Wife to her Lodgings in
Stewarts Rents Drury Lane and there stay'd
all Night with Rogers and his Wifeand Rogers
went down Stairs [..] to Pay his Rent and
between [..] Seven & 8 o Clock in the Morning
this Informant & the said Rogers & his Wife
& two other Women went all together to the House
of the other Informant Jane Thorn< no role > where they
ChangDrank two Pots of Purl and Change the
French Crown now Produced to Pay for the said
two Pots of PurlAnd further saith that he knew
nothing at all of any Intention of Rogers and his
Wife to break open Mr Chandlers Apartment
nor hath this Informant received any Part of
the Money or Goods & but says that he borrowed
two Shillings of Rogers which he promised
