taken and made on Oath before
me one of his Majestys Justices of the
peace for the County of Middlesex
the 30th.
day of August 1781.
Who on her Oath saith that her Husband keeps a Cloaths
Shop in Shoreditch
in the said County. That on the 18th.
day of August instant there was feloniously stolenout
of her said Husbands Shop one Cloth Coat the property of
her said Husband And further saith that she verily
believes and suspects that one Thomas Smith< no role >
is the
person who stole the same by reason that on the same
day the said Thomas Smith< no role >
came with a Woman to this
Informant Said Shop cheapred the said Coat of this
Informant and went out again without buying the
same also this Informants having seen the said Thomas
Smith< no role >
on Monday last the 27th. Instant with the said
Coat on his Back.
