Examination TextMary Snooks aged 26 years destitute of lodging upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was bound an apprentice by the officers of St Clement Danes for seven years to Mary Lising a Fishmonger the bottom of Hemings Row in Castle Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served about three years and there was turned over to Thomas Sarsey, a Victualler the corner of Hemings Row in the Parish aforesaid and there served about three years longer, and then she this Examinant run away which is about six years ago, and hath not kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the second Day of April 1755 before Benjamin Cox.
