Examination TextJoseph Stott aged 36 years destitute of lodging upon his oath saith that he is a Cordwainer by trade, that before his intermarriage he was a yearly hired servant to Mr Rymer a Shoemaker near Charing Cross in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of one whole year at the yearly wages of 10 Guineas diet and lodging, quitted the same about 10 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant since, that he was married to his present wife Catherine May Fair Chapel almost 10 years ago. Sworn the 21st Day of May 1755 before Benjamin Cox.
