Examination TextJane Bush aged 39 years lodging at Mr Baignell's at the Horse Shoe in Old Round Court in the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the widow of George Bush (who died about 11 months ago) to whom she was married at May Fair Chapel eight years ago, that he lived the in and rented an house in Burleigh Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of four years at the yearly rent of 33 pounds besides taxes and there died, and that she this Examinant hath lived in rented the said house from the death of her said husband till Midsummer last, that she hath three children living by her said husband to wit Charles aged six years now in Hyde Park Hospital, Edward aged three years and John aged one year. Sworn the eighth day of July 1757 before Thomas Kynaston.
