Examination TextMargaret Nibblett aged about 29 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the parish St Botolph without Aldgate in the County of Middlesex upon her oath saith that she is the wife of John Nibblett (gone from her since July last and knows not where he is) to whom she was married at the ffleet 10 years ago last July, that he is a Cordwainer by trade and served his apprenticeship to Mr John Collins a Cordwainer as her said husband hath informed this Examinant in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid, but the particular part she cannot tell, that he never never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor was a yearly hired servant since the expiration of his said apprenticeship to this Examinant's knowledge, that she hath two children living by her said husband to wit Elizabeth aged six years and upwards and Philip aged three years and upwards both now with this Examinant, and that she this Examinant is now pregnant. Sworn the fourth Day of February 1756 before Benjamin Cox.
