Examination Text | Elizabeth Hickey aged 60 years and upwards lodging next the Queen's Head in the Old Bayly upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Martin Hickey to whom she was married the ffleet about 14 years ago, that her said husband lived in and rented an house known by the sign of the Port OBello near Moors Yard in St Martin's Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of 12 years at the yearly rent of 35 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same six years ago, that he hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since. Sworn the 31st Day of January 1758 before Thomas Kynaston. |
