Examination Text | Mary Frost aged 26 years and upwards in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed as a vagrant from the Parish of Camberwell in the County of Surry upon her oath saith that she never was married nor bound an apprentice, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Wicks a Silver Smith in Panton Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of one year and 10 months at the yearly wages of 6 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same six years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 17th Day of December 1757 before Benjamin Cox. |
