Examination Text | Samuel Wright aged 65 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish St Giles without Cripplegate London upon his oath saith that he is a Shoemaker by trade and lived in and rented an house in White Hart Yard in Castle Street by the Mews in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of one year at the yearly rent of 11 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about 27 years ago, that he hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since. Sworn the 23rd Day of December 1757 before Benjamin Cox. |
