Examination Text | Ann Wilmot aged 18 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that her father Joseph Wilmot who is a Staymaker by trade and lived in and rented an house in New Bedford Court [sic] in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of 10 years at the yearly rent of 13 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about 12 years ago, that he hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since. Sworn the 26th Day of November 1757 before Thomas Kynaston. |
