Examination Text | Lavinya Whittney aged 55 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Margaret Westminster upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Herne in George Street York Buildings in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of two years at the yearly wages of 5 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about 14 years ago, that she never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 26th Day of October 1757 before Benjamin Cox. |
