Examination TextSamuel Taylor aged 27 years lodging at Mr Cheswell's in Dirty Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon his oath saith that he was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Mr John Wyatt a Copper Plate Printer opposite Broad Court in Long Acre in the Parish aforesaid and there served all his time out which expired about seven years ago, that he this Examinant house never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since, that he was married to his present wife Jane at the Parish Church of St Giles at Reading in the County of Berks. the seventh Day of April which is in the year 1761 by whom he hath two children living to wit Samuel aged two years and upwards, and Jane aged about one year both now with this Examinant.
