Examination TextJohn Comerford aged 51 years lodging in Fleet Lane upon his oath saith that he was bound an apprentice to Mr Walklett a Cordwainer in Heath Cock Court in the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served about four years and an half, and then he this Examinant was assigned over to Mr Windham a Cordwainer in Old Round Court in the Parish aforesaid, and there served about two years and an half the remainder of the term of seven years for which he was bound, which expired about 27 years ago, that he this Examinant never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since, that he was married to his present wife Mary at the Fleet about 25 years ago.
