Examination TextElizabeth Griffin aged 35 Years upon her Oath saith that she was never Married that she served Seventeen Months under a yearly hiring with Mr Crosier in Panton Squealed in the Parish of Saint James Westminster and the yearly Wages of Eight Guineas diet & lodging & never did any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement. And this Examinant further saith that she was on the 21th day of June 1789 delivered at the house of Mr Field No 5 in Russell Court in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields within the Liberty of Westminster of a Male Bastard Child since baptised William yet living & removed from St James's and that William Titterton who is the Taylor by Trade & with whom she cohabited did beget of her Body the said Male Bastard Child and is the true & only ffather thereof & Man else. Sworn this 18th Day of August 1792 before Wm Hyde Eliz Griggin
