Examination TextGeorge Stewart aged 42 Years passed as a Vagrant from St Lawrence Jewry upon his Oath saith that he is a Peruke maker by Trade and lived in & rented a House in Coventry Court in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields for the space of Two Years of the Yearly Rent of ffourteen Pounds the said Taxes quitted the same in the Year 1770 since which he had not rented Ten Pounds by the Year paid any Parliamentary or are Parochial taxes not done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement , that he was married to his present Wife Phoebe at the Parish Church of St May Lambeth on the 29th Day of September 1789 by whom he hath Two Childn to wit William born June 17th 1790 & Charles born June 8 1792.Sworn this 7th Day of July 1792 before me Wm Hyde.
