Examination TextElizabeth Eldin aged 39 Years removed from St Clement Danes upon her Oath saith that she was never Married that she served Eighteen Months under a Yearly hiring with Mr James McLean at the Cecil Street Coffeehouse Strand in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields at the Yearly Wages of Ten Guineas diet & lodging quitted the same about ffive years ago since which she hath not been a yearly hired Servant in any one place for Twelve Months together not done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement. And this Examinant Father saith that she was on the 8th day of December last delivered in the Workhouse AND in the said Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields oath Two female Basford Children baptised Abigail & Lydia (since dead) & that George Robinson a Stocking Manufacturer who resides in Scotland & who lodged in June Last at Mrs Leplane in Pall Mall did beget of her Body the said Bastard Children , & that he the said George Robinson is the true & only ffather thereof & Man else.
