Examination Text | Margaret Thompson aged 31 years and upwards in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Giles without Cripplegate London upon her oath saith that she is the widow of Charles Thompson (who died about 11 years ago), that since the death of her said husband having no child living she this Examinant was a yearly hired servant to Mr Coulon a Watchmaker in Panton Street in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of 13 months at the yearly wages of 7 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about nine years ago, that she hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since.
