Examination TextSarah Watts aged 18 years and upwards lodging in Moors Yard in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the wife of John Watts (gone from her) to whom she was married at the Parish Church of St Margaret in the city of Westminster the fifth day of October last, that her said husband is a Shoemaker by trade, that he never was bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together to this Examinant's knowledge, that her husband's father Richard Watts, a Shoemaker, lived in and rented an house in Moors Yard above written for the space of four years at the yearly rent of 14 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about four years, that he hath not kept house rented tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since as her said husband hath informed this Examinant.
