Examination TextJames Jameson aged 52 years upon his oath saith that he was by the Trustees of the Charity School of and belonging to the Parish of St Martin in the Fields bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Mr Auber a Painter in Castle Street by the Mews in the Parish aforesaid and there served his said Master all the said time out which expired about 30 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 13th Day of August 1777 before John Goodchild.
