Examination Text | Mary Bourne aged about 53 years passed from the Parish of St. James within the Liberty of Westminster to the Parish of St Martin in the Fields in the same Liberty upon her oath saith that she never was married (except to John Igo and Luke Farrell to whom she was married after the manner of the Church of Rome, the former at a private room in Silver Street Golden Square about 20 years ago, the latter in a private room near Carnaby Market about six years ago), that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Frenny an Artificial Flower maker in Coventry Court in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of one whole year all under one hiring at the yearly wages of 5 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about 20 years ago, that she hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since.
