Examination TextMalenda Fisher aged 50 years passed from the Parish of St. James within the Liberty of [blank] to the Parish of St Martin the Fields in the same Liberty upon her oath saith, that she is the widow of John Fisher( who died about 12 years ago), that since the death of her said husband (having no children living) she this Examinant was a yearly hired servant to Mr Cronker a Taylor in Oxendon St in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of 14 months all under one hiring at the yearly wages of 5 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same service about [blank], that she hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the [blank] Day of [blank] 1776 before [blank]. N.B. on examining found she had no right and she was taken back to St. James's.
