Examination TextElizabeth Haddin aged about 50 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed as a vagrant from the Hamlet of Brentwood in the County of Essex upon her oath saith, that she never was married that she was (by the Officers of the Parish of St George Hanover Square) bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Patrick [Goovrey] a poulterer in Church Lane in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served her said Master about three years and an half and then ran away, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the [blank] Day of [blank] 1775 before [blank].
