Examination TextHannah Simmonds aged ffifty years lodging at a house let in Tenements in Green Street by Leicester ffields where she hath lodged three weeks Saith she was never marryed that she was a yearly hired Servant to one William Lissiman a Cyderman then living in Hungerford Market in the parish of St Martin in the ffields whom she served in Hungerford Market aforesaid and that his House in the Strand between Villiers Street and Buck's Street York Buildings (to which he removed from Hungerford Market) about ten Years had eight pounds yearly Wages and Diet and Lodging and came thence upwards of ten years ago and afterwards was hired to Colson Esqr at Mortlake in Surry for six pounds a year and that she lived with him there near a year but is not positive whether she served him there an entire year or not and that she never was a year in any one Service since she left the said Mr Lissiman's Service unless she continued a year in the Service of Mr Colson aforesaid and that she never took any house rented ten pounds by the year or paid any parish Taxes Sworn the 25th Novemr 1737 Before me Jas Fraser The mark of Hannah Simmonds
