Examination TextMary Lefever aged about thirty years Saith she hath sat up in the Streets of this Parish a fortnight past and before that lodged in Mercer Street Saith also that she was bound an Apprentice by Indenture for seven years to one Mrs Dingleband a plainworkwoman who at that time lived next to one Mr Goupy's a ffanmaker in Durham Yard in the Strand whom she served there about ffive years and her mistress then dying she was turned over to one Thomas Biddle a Taylor and his wife Clear Starcher in Exchange Court in the Strand whom she served there till near the Expiration of her time when he master was arrested and her mistress left off Business and she this Examinant went away and never served them afterwards never was turned over to any other person kept any house rented ten pounds by the year paid any parish Taxes or was a yearly hired Servant the Space of an Entire year in any one Service since nor was ever marryed Sworn the 22d November 1737 Before me Val Kilder The mark of Mary Lefever
