Examination TextSusan Prince aged twenty eight years in the workhouse Saith she is the widow of James Prince who dyed nine weeks ago to whom she was marryed at the hand and Pen at the ffleet eleven years ago Saith when she was marryed him he was a Servant to Captn Cossly who lodged at Mrs Deane's a Pewterer's at Charing Cross in the parish of St Martin in the ffields that being a Negroe he was given as a Present to Major Cossly of Vitners in Kent when an Infant whom he served to his Death and then he served the said Captn Cossley Son of the said Major till she this Examinant marryed him and that she knows not what Wages he had before she marryed him but that he afterwards had seven pounds Pr ann that when she marryed him she was a yearly hired Servant to Dr Misaubin in St Martin's Lane whom she served before Marriage upwards of a year had Seven pounds by the year Wages Diet and Lodging & marryed from thence and that they nor either of them ever kept house rented ten pounds by the year or paid any parish Taxes James Prince had no Wages at all of Capt Cossley certain John Godley} Sworn
