Examination TextSarah Pitman the wife of John Pitman now lodging at one Mr Cadman's in Black Fryars London Saith that Richard Pitman now in the Woodstreet Compter is her Husband's Brother and is by Trade a House Joyner and kept a House of abt Sixteen Pounds by the Year Rent near a Twelvemonth in Red Lyon Court in this parish and that he quitted it about a twelvemonth ago and soon after was arrested and hath continued in the Prison ever since Saith he hath by Ann his late Wife who dyed about eighteen Months ago and to whom he was marryed in Dorsetshire two Children (to wit) Elizabeth aged fourteen years now a yearly hired Servant to one Mr Cooper a Sadler in the Strand agt St Clements Churchyard and Anne aged about Eight Years Sworn the 18th Day of October 1736 Before Jas: Fraser Sarah Pittman
