Examination Text | Margt Wright aged abt Seventy Nine years at the Workhouse in the parish of St Martin in the ffields Saith she is the widow of Nathaniel Wright who dyed abt Twenty four years agoe to whom she was Married at St Martins Church about fforty two years agoe that he was by Trade a Cloath Worker and was bound an apprentice by Indres for Seven years to his ffather Wright who then lived at Bolton in the Moors in Lancashire Saith that her said husband kept house in St Martin's Street in this parish and paid Twenty pounds by the year Rent and all Taxes for about four or five years and that she this Examinant kept the Same house after her said husbands Death abt four years and then she removed into another house opposite to that where she lived in before in the same street and paid Twenty Eight pounds by the year for about Seven years that she left the same about Eight years agoe and never kept house Rented Ten pounds pr Ann afterwards paid any parish Taxes or was a yearly hired Servt Since her said husbands Death Sworn the 3d Day of Decembr 1736 Before |
