Examination TextAnn Shoutt aged Twenty Two years lodging at one Morgans at the Cookand holly Bush in Thieving Lane in the Parish of Saint Margaret Westminster where she hath lodged about three Months Saith she is the Wife of John Shoutt a Waterman to whom she was marryed at the Hand and Pen at the ffleet on Twelth Day in the Year 1727 and that he then being an Apprentice to the Widow fflinn who then lived in Harthsorn Lane in this Parish having then served about four years of his Time and that she afterwards (that is to say) on was marryed to him again at the Hand and Pen at the ffleet aforesaid and that he never kept House rented ten Pounds by the year or paid any parish Taxes Saith that she hath one Child by him now living (to wit) Catherine aged about two Years and three Quarters born at the two Brewers in Hartshorn Lane aforesaid
