Examination TextAnne Prince aged about 55 years in the workhouse upon her oath saith she was married to her present husband (who is now gone to China) in St Martin's Old Church 25 years ago, that he is by trade a Cook and lived in and rented an house in Phenix Alley in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for 24 years at the yearly rent of 13 pounds per ann. and all taxes, left it last Michaelmas, neither this Examinant nor her said husband never kept any house rented 10 pounds per ann. or paid any parish taxes afterwards, hath no children, hath one child [sic] named Mary Taylor bound to one [blank] White who lives at [blank] Pridmore's in Hart Street in the Parish of St Paul Covent Garden and by consent came to live this Examinant.
