Examination TextJane Edwards aged about 37 years saith she was married to her present husband Robert ffleet [sic] a Shoemaker but never was bound apprentice to that or any other business or kept any house rented 10 pounds per ann. paid any parish taxes or a yearly hired servant, knows not where he was born, that his Father kept house the corner of Cecil Court in St Martin's Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for several years, does not know what rent he paid or where her said husband is, that when she married him was then the widow of Adam Dixon who died at Jamaica 16 years ago, knows not where he was born, was by trade Carpenter and Joiner and never kept any house rented 10 pounds per ann. paid any parish taxes or a yearly hired servant.
