Examination Text | Mary Smith aged 27 years lodging at Hugh Middleton's in Vinegar Yard where she hath lodged a week saith she never was married bound apprentice kept house rented 10 pounds per ann. paid any parish taxes, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Cooper, a Painter in Cecil Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields whom she there served one year and three months, that she had 4 pounds per ann. wages diet and lodging and that she quitted that service the 15th of June last. Sworn the 12th Day of January 1740 before me Val Hilder. |
