Examination TextChristian Dogood aged about 50 years in the workhouse upon her oath saith she was married to her first husband in St George's Church Southwark, but how long since does not remember, that he served his apprenticeship in Hemmings Row in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields which expired about 40 years ago and never kept any house rented 10 pounds per ann. paid any parish taxes or a yearly hired servant, that she was married to her late husband William Dogood at the Fleet, but how long since knows not, that he was a Covenant Servant to his brother Mr [blank] still in Feathers Alley in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for two years and never kept any house rented 10 pounds per ann. paid any parish taxes, has been dead many years, saith she never intermarried kept any house rented 10 pounds per ann. paid any parish taxes or a yearly hired servant since her said husband's death.
