Examination Text | Roger Woodburne aged 28 years (in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields) saith that he never was married, that he was bound an apprentice to and served his time with one Mr Lynn an Upholsterer in Great Marlborough Street in the Parish of St. James Westminster and that since the expiration thereof he was a yearly hired servant to Mr Gwynne an Upholsterer in the Haymarket in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields at 10 pounds by the year wages diet and lodging, that he served him under the same agreement for the space of four years and an half, that he quitted that service above a year ago and never kept any house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant since.
